Based in Irvine, California, Orange County Eclipse Soccer Academy was founded by Abner Rogers, Gary Ireland and Carine Ireland based on the principle that developing a superior technical foundation in conjunction with physical components and individual tactical applications will not only enable players to achieve greater success, but also enhance their enjoyment of the game.
Our founders’ shared philosophy is based on teaching, continuous improvement, and challenging every player to take ownership of their game.
A History of Success
Since 1990, our founders have trained and developed players of all ages and levels with a deep focus on technical training, from beginners to the highest levels of the game, and created, managed and coached with some of California's leading elite youth soccer clubs, operated camps and clinics and global tours, worked with professional clubs and academies, and provided international coach education opportunities.
We specialize in optimizing individual player performances regardless of level of play and provide bespoke training for elite level youth players, aspiring college track players, US college players, players aiming to play professionally, and national team and professional players. We also provide domestic and international player training and playing opportunities, training and mentoring of coaches including educational experience and the creation of technical development symposiums for professional clubs, and their players and coaches.
